R v N: Six day jury trial Auckland District Court, not guilty on 6 charges of importing a class A drug methamphetamine (total 12 Kilos) and 1 charge of possession for supply of a class A drug methamphetamine ( I kilo).

R v R: Three day jury trial Auckland District Court , not guilty on one charge of indecent assault.

R v H: Five day jury trial Hamilton District Court, not guilty on 5 charges of sexual violation, 2 complainants.

R v S: Five day jury trial Napier District Court not guilty on supplying a class A drug methamphetamine and 3 charges of indecent assault.

R v R: Seven day jury trial, Auckland District Court not guilty on 15 counts of sexual violation.

R v R: Four day jury re-trial at the Auckland District Court. One charge of rape. Not guilty verdict.

R v R: Auckland District Court jury trial. The defendant faced four charges of abduction and sexual assault including rape and sexual violation. He was found not guilty of three charges and the jury could not decide on the fourth charge which was then set down for a re -trial.

R v P – B charged with I count of manufacturing the class A controlled drug methamphetamine, max jail term life imprisonment – 2 week jury trial Auckland District Court – jury verdict not guilty.

R v P – theft of $46,000 from a neighbour – all charges withdrawn by Crown before trial – effectively an acquittal.

R v H – theft of $170,000 from insurance company – guilty plea – reparation ordered and sentenced to 8 months home detention.

R v S – Insurance fraud of $15,000 – guilty plea – discharged without conviction.

R v H – guilty plea to $560,000 theft from employer – 3 years jail.

R v L – High Court sentence appeal against District Court sentence of 21 months jail – appeal successful – jail sentence quashed- new sentence ordered of 6 months community detention – 200 hours community work and reparation of $150,000 ordered and paid.

R v H – Guilty plea to one charge of wounding with reckless disregard for the safety of another person – sentenced to 18 months jail in the Auckland District Court – High Court sentence appeal against District Court sentence – jail sentence quashed – new sentence imposed of 6 months intensive supervision, 200 hours community work and a payment of $4000 emotional harm.

R v N- Operation Ghost- prosecuted by the Crown on behalf of OFCANZ , the organised crime unit of the NZ Police- 5 accused – N charged with 4 counts of possession for supply of a class B controlled drug and 4 counts of supply of a class B controlled drug– 5 week trial Auckland District Court- acquitted on all counts.

R v W – charged with 1 count of rape and 1 count of digital sexual violation– 4 day jury trial Auckland District Court- prosecuted by the Crown on behalf of the New Zealand Police- acquitted on both counts after a jury deliberation of 1 hour, 10 minutes.

R v A – charged with 1 count of rape –50 year old defendant- 20 year old complainant- Auckland District Court- Crown prosecution on behalf of the NZ Police charge withdrawn- acquitted.

R v W – Taiwanese national charged with 4 counts of importing 4 kilos of a class A controlled drug, methamphetamine– charges withdrawn- acquitted and deported.

R v G – Auckland District Court- originally charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (14 year maximum jail term)- count reduced to assault with intent to injure (5 year jail term) – sentenced to 4 x 4 weeks community detention (night curfew) following guilty plea.

R v L – Auckland District Court jury trial x 2 – originally charged with manufacture of class A drug methamphetamine, possession of Class A drug methamphetamine and arson – first trial aborted, no result, acquitted on all charges at second jury trial.

R v T – Auckland High Court – charged with conspiracy to supply of class A drug methamphetamine, (14 years imprisonment maximum jail term) 9 week High Court trial – acquitted.

R v T – Auckland District Court – jury trial -charged with sexual violation by digital penetration,(20 year maximum jail term)- found guilty by jury but sentenced to home detention.

R v M – Auckland District Court – charged with one count of aggravated robbery (14 year maximum jail term) – 4 day trial – acquitted.

R v B – Auckland District Court – jury trial- 10 days- charged with one count of intent to cause grievous bodily harm (14 year maximum) – acquitted.

R v D – Manukau District Court- jury trial – charged with 2 counts of indecent assault (7 year maximum sentence) – acquitted on both counts.

R v D – Auckland District Court – charged with indecent assault on boy and inducing an indecent act– 4 day jury trial – acquitted on both counts.

R v K – Auckland District Court – 2 week jury trial x 2 -11 counts of sexual violation, indecent acts, inducing sexual act on 9 year old girl – liable to imprisonment for 10 years plus if convicted – first trial, hung jury, second trial acquitted on all counts.

R v K – Manukau District Court – 2 counts of indecent assault on two complainants aged under 12, 5 day jury trial- acquitted on both counts.

R v H – Auckland District Court – charged with one count of sexual relations with girl under the age of 16 – (10 year maximum jail sentence) acquitted.

R v P – Auckland High Court – charged with 6 counts of supply and possession for supply of class A drug methamphetamine – (maximum life sentence) – acquitted on 4 of 6 counts following 8 week trial and sentenced to 30 months jail.

R v G – Auckland High Court – guilty plea to manslaughter (maximum life jail term) with a weapon- 39 months jail.

R v G – Auckland District Court – one count of rape ( 20 year maximum sentence) withdrawn by Crown prior to trial.
